Year 5: Fractions, particularly equivalence

TIMSS assesses students’ ability to represent fractions (words, symbols, continuous and sets models), compare/order fractions, add and subtract fractions (related denominators),and apply fractions in problem situations.

These units of work will improve students’ understanding of fractions across a range of contexts:
