Purpose

In this activity students practise their forwards and backwards counting.

Required Resource Materials

A clock with on- the- hour times with movable hands.

Activity

Show the students the clock face set at 7 o clock.
What time does the clock show?
What time was it 2 hours ago?
What time will it be in 3 hours?
Ask students to explain how they worked out the times.
Repeat with different starting times.
