This week we focus on fractions and measuring the likelihood of an event using fractions and percentages. We also learn to use tree diagrams to record the possible outcomes of an event.

Day 1
Fractions e-ako
- Go to the number facts pathway in e-ako maths.
- Choose the Fraction pairs game.
- Click “Fractions to make 1” and play the game several times. How many pairs can you answer in one minute?
- If you can answer most of the questions quickly and correctly try the “Fractions to make 2” or “Improper fractions to make 2” variations.
Probability e-ako
- Go to the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
- Choose e-ako G4.20 (the second yellow button on the fourth row).
- Work through pages 1-8.
Probability activity
- Go to the activity Spinner explorer and follow the instructions, using the Spinner tool.
Day 2
Fractions e-ako
- Go back to the Fraction pairs game.
- Play one of the variations of the Fraction pairs fame. How many pairs can you answer in one minute?
Fractions activity
- Go the activity Stripping Fractions and follow the instructions.

Probability e-ako
- Go back to e-ako G4.20 on the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
- Work through pages 9-15.
Probability activity

Day 3

- Choose the Tenths frames game.
- Click “Making 1” and play the game several times. How many pairs can you answer in one minute?
