This week we develop our understanding of multiplication and division. We also practice our understanding of important number facts that are larger than 10 + 10.  

This page suggests activities for each day. Click to download a printable PDF to help keep track of progress.


Day 1

Number knowledge

  • Go to the activity Tens facts and follow the instructions.

Number e-ako

  • Go to the multiplicative thinking pathway in e-ako maths.
  • Choose e-ako MD2.10 (the third blue button on the first row).
  • Work through pages 1-12.  
  • You can click on the orange ? button if they need help with the question.

Number activity

  • Go to the activity Double it and follow the instructions for the first two tables (doubling numbers).

Day 2

Number knowledge

Number e-ako

  • Go back to e-ako MD2.10 on the multiplicative pathway in e-ako maths.
  • Work through pages 13-25.

Number activity

  • Go back to the activity Double it and follow the instructions for table 3 (halving) and table 4 (doubling +1, -1).

Day 3

Number knowledge

  • Go to the activity Pairs to one hundred and follow the instructions. This activity is an extension to the Day 2 activity. If you were confident with pairs that end in a 5 or 10 move onto this activity. If not, then replay Domino pairs within 100.

Number e-ako

  • Go back to the multiplicative pathway in e-ako maths.
  • Choose e-ako MD2.20 (the fourth blue button on the first row).
  • Work through pages 1-8.

  • Go back to the activity Double it and solve the three problems on page 3.

Day 4

Number knowledge

  • Go back to e-ako MD2.20 on the multiplicative pathway in e-ako maths.
  • Work through pages 9-14.
