Thanks for visiting NZMaths.
We are preparing to close this site and currently expect this to be in June 2024
but we are reviewing this timing due to the large volume of content to move and
improvements needed to make it easier to find different types of content on
Tāhūrangi. We will update this message again shortly.

Blogs are a useful way to inform parents what their child is learning about and how they can support them at home. See Resource 9 for more information.

Games can be used to help learning continue at home. Consider setting up a family game kit for students to take home, along with the rules of the game. Have students teach a family member how to play.

nzmaths provides a list of games and activities at www.nzmaths.co.nz/node/1390

Additional games that can be used to support numeracy at home can be found in the Families and whānau section of the nzmaths website.
