This week we focus on fractions and investigate possible outcomes in simple games.

Day 1
Fractions e-ako
- Go to the number facts pathway in e-ako maths.
- Choose the Fraction pairs game.
- Click “Fractions to make 1” and play the game a few times. How many pairs can you answer in one minute?
- If you can answer most of the questions quickly and correctly try the “Fractions to make 2” or “Improper fractions to make 2” variations.

- Go the activity Fun with Fractions and follow the instructions.
Probability e-ako
- Go to the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
- Choose e-ako G3.20 (the second yellow button on the third row).
- Work through pages 1-8.
Day 2
Fractions e-ako
- Go back the number facts pathway in e-ako maths.
- Play one of the variations of the Fraction pairs fame. How many pairs can you answer in one minute?
Probability e-ako
- Go back to e-ako G3.20 on the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
- Work through pages 9-14.
Probability activity
- Go to the activity Superbeans and follow the instructions to complete activity one.
Day 3
Fractions activity
- Go the activity Fraction Frenzy and follow the instructions. You will need to make yourself some fractions cards, like the ones shown.
Probability e-ako
- Go back to e-ako G3.20 on the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
- Work through pages 15-19.
Probability activity
- Go to the activity Horse Racing and follow the instructions. You might need to draw the game grid, which is shown on the second page.
Day 4
Fractions activity
- Go the activity Weekend sport results and follow the instructions to play the game.
Probability e-ako
- Go back to e-ako G3.20 on the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
- Work through pages 20-26.
Probability activity
- Go to the activity Dylan’s Dominoes and follow the instructions.
Day 5
