Year 4 week 4 (number knowledge and probability)

This week we focus on ordering numbers to 1000, we investigate early probability concepts and do some problem solving.

Day 1

Number knowledge

Probability e-ako

  • Go to the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
  • Choose e-ako P2.10 (the first yellow button on the third row).
  • Work through pages 1-7.

Problem solving

  • Go to the activity Problems to solve and choose a problem to solve. You can return to this activity on the other days of this week if you are interested in solving more problems. 

Day 2

Number knowledge

Probability e-ako

  • Go back to e-ako P2.10 on the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
  • Work through pages 8-13 with your child.

Problem solving

  • Go back to the Problems to solve activity and ask your child to select another problem to solve.  

Day 3

Number knowledge

  • Go back to e-ako P2.10 on the probability and statistics pathway in e-ako maths.
  • Work through pages 14-24 with your child.

Problem solving

  • Go back to the Problems to solve activity and ask your child to select another problem to solve. 

Day 4
