Year 1: week 4 (number knowledge and probability)

The Ministry is migrating nzmaths content to Tāhurangi.
Relevant and up-to-date teaching resources are being moved to Tāhūrangi (tahurangi.education.govt.nz).
When all identified resources have been successfully moved, this website will close. We expect this to be in June 2024.
e-ako maths, e-ako Pāngarau, and e-ako PLD 360 will continue to be available.

This week we focus on learning about halves and quarters and we investigate some beginning probability concepts.

This page suggests activities for each day. Click to download a printable PDF to help keep track of progress.

  • Today we use a similar activity to day one except that we use strips of paper.
