Fair Game 3

The Ministry is migrating nzmaths content to Tāhurangi.
Relevant and up-to-date teaching resources are being moved to Tāhūrangi (tahurangi.education.govt.nz).
When all identified resources have been successfully moved, this website will close. We expect this to be in June 2024.
e-ako maths, e-ako Pāngarau, and e-ako PLD 360 will continue to be available.

Eryn and Ossie were spinning the spinners shown. If the sum of the numbers from the two spinners was even then Eryn won; if it was odd, then Ossie won.

Now suppose that Eryn and Ossie divided one spinner up into r equal parts and the other into s equal parts. Would the two spinners when spun together be fair or unfair?
