Purpose:
The purpose of this activity is to help your child to practice adding multiples of 10 that make 100.

What you need:
Game Cards (PDF,64KB) . You can print these or make your own.
Cardboard. (Old cereal boxes are good)
What to do:
Glue the cards on to cardboard. Give each player 5 fact cards (“10 + ?” format) . The fact cards are placed face up in front of each player. The number cards are cut, shuffled and placed in a face down pile between the players. The players take turns to take a card from the pile, if they can use it to complete a number fact they keep the card but if not the card is returned to the bottom of the pile. The winner is the first player to complete their 5 fact cards.
What to expect your child to do:
To correctly complete the number facts by adding multiples of 10.
Variation:
Use the fact cards as flash cards and ask your child to quickly give you the missing number as you show them the cards.
