Multiply Target
Purpose
The purpose of this activity is for students to practise their multiplication facts.
Achievement Objectives
NA3-2: Know basic multiplication and division facts.
Specific Learning Outcomes
recall their basic multiplication facts.
Required Resource Materials
Chalk / white board diagram, or paper template.
Bean bags or counters.
Activity
- Throw bean bags 2 at a time, onto targets. Determine the score.
- Students can play in pairs. The winner is the first to answer.
- The teacher calls a product and students work out what factors the bean bags would be on.
- Make the following variations to the activity:
- Vary the factors.
- Change to addition.
