S6-3: Investigate situations that involve elements of chance: comparing discrete theoretical distributions and experimental distributions, appreciating the role of sample size; calculating probabilities in discrete situations.

In this unit students are provided with experiences of randomness. This is done by a related set of activities that link large sequences of tossing coins, random walks, Pascal's Triangle, and probabilities that are a little too complicated for probability trees.
