The Ministry is migrating nzmaths content to Tāhurangi.
Relevant and up-to-date teaching resources are being moved to Tāhūrangi (tahurangi.education.govt.nz).
When all identified resources have been successfully moved, this website will close. We expect this to be in June 2024.
e-ako maths, e-ako Pāngarau, and e-ako PLD 360 will continue to be available.

The Individual Knowledge Assessment of Number (IKAN) forms can be used to determine a student's stages on the knowledge domains.  There are four versions of the form.

The PDF version provides a single stage across the knowledge domains and is suitable for using as an assessment with an individual student.

The three PowerPoint versions are designed to be carried out with a whole class.  The recording sheet for these versions is included in the Information for using IKAN PowerPoints file below, and separates the questions into separate knowledge domains.
