Community links

The Ministry is migrating nzmaths content to Tāhurangi.
Relevant and up-to-date teaching resources are being moved to Tāhūrangi (tahurangi.education.govt.nz).
When all identified resources have been successfully moved, this website will close. We expect this to be in June 2024.
e-ako maths, e-ako Pāngarau, and e-ako PLD 360 will continue to be available.

The Community Links provide beginning places to start connecting with other maths educators. The nzmaths Professional Learning Communities section includes four PLCs relating to NCEA and one discussing interesting links on nzmaths and the rest of the internet. There are regional maths teacher associations and you can find these through NZAMT.

Many NZ teachers have set up blogs and wikis to share resources and ideas. If you do a Google search select blogs on the side bar and this will sometimes connect you to other people. Searching out maths communities through areas such as gifted and talented or cultural educational groups and networks can also connect you with people working in your area.
